Shane Burger is a designer at the New York office of Grimshaw. He directed three-dimensional design work on the EMPAC project at Renssalaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, and followed with early design studies for the Fulton Street Transit Center. Currently he is working on the design of an enclosed rainforest building in Iowa, the next iteration of work Grimshaw began with The Eden Project, and the Queens Museum of Art. He also manages design technology at Grimshaw in New York and directs teams in scripted parametric design and three-dimensional modeling for fabrication and construction.
