Jeroen Coenders is a structural engineer for Arup in Amsterdam, involved in geometrical complex projects and computation, and a researcher at Delft University of Technology on new computational structural design tools.

His main interests for SmartGeometry lie in the combination of complex geometry, parametric associative technology, structural engineering, optimisation and programming software. He developed an interface between GC and various other applications.
